This is a case study of residential energy storage battery installation in Mexico.
Project Background
With rising electricity costs for Mexican households and frequent power outages due to extreme weather, more and more families are seeking energy self-sufficiency solutions. After experiencing numerous power outages, the family ultimately chose the Dawnice residential energy storage system, achieving a stable power supply and cost optimization for their home.
Project Introduction
Dawnice designed a 20kWh residential energy storage solution for the Thompson residence, working in conjunction with a rooftop photovoltaic system. The entire system is wall-mounted, seamlessly integrating into any available space, saving space and maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The system is equipped with an intelligent control unit that automatically optimizes its operating strategy based on the family's electricity usage habits.
During the day, the system fully utilizes solar power and stores excess energy for backup; at night, when electricity prices are lower, it automatically charges from the grid, effectively reducing household electricity costs. In the event of a planned or sudden power outage, the system can switch to backup mode within milliseconds, continuously powering critical loads such as refrigerators, air conditioners, and lighting.
User Feedback
"After experiencing recurring power outages last summer, we decided to install the Dawnice energy storage system. Now, not only have our electricity bills decreased by 40%, but more importantly, our home is no longer affected by power outages. The children can do their homework without worry, and our food won't spoil during power outages. This peace of mind is priceless."
